Girls Weekend

The weekend started off on Thursday right after class with whits little Bacheloret party. We had dinner at The Grand Luxe and went to see Phantom of the Opera. I think i could see it a thousand times and never get sick of it.

Then after Whits night i headed home and left for New Moon with Sarah, Jakell, her friend, Jessica, and Lauren. It was so good. Not comparable to the book at all but still just like Phantom, i could watch it over and over again and never get sick of it. Before the movie started though we were so entertaining. Lauren drank a rock star for the first time in her life and Sarah kept dropping everything and laughing at everything as well. It was a lot of fun and i am so glad i went.

Four hours of sleep later I woke and packed for the trip to Reno. I was going to the State game to take pictures for the high school and the Progress. The drive up was pretty fun until Sarah and Kaylee ditched me for X-ray and Zach. I drove the entire way and we didn't get there until around 6:00 pm. It was a very long drive. Once we got there Sarah and Kaylee left with the boys while Hannah, Katie, My mom, and I went to New Moon again. The next morning we got all dolled and warm for the day and went shopping. Seriously best sales ever. I got heels, boots, and some guess jeans that were only $25.

When the game started it was really intense all of the boys seemed to be on edge and didn't really know what to expect. Pretty sure everyone already knows the outcome but just in case you don't they lost. Truckee brought their game on hard and it helped that they totally had the refs on their side. Moapa's Defense did so well though and i was so proud of them. They were trying so hard to keep everyone motivated and to do their very best. I would just like to add how amazing my little brother is. Luke was extrordinary and honestly could have played the best game of his life. It was so neat to be down on the feild with the boys and see their reactions to everything and how the dealt with it. My heart really did break for them when it was all over, and the game brought back quite a few memories from my senior year.

After the game we made a quick stop for some Dairy Queen in Fernley and headed home. We decided to take the 95 to Tonapah and well of course no one told me i had to make a right after that creepy little town. (I'm sure it is actually really cool. At night though it looks like it is strait out of a horror movie.) So I went strait and ended up in Beatty then Vegas, it was just a little out of the way. I finally got to sleep at 3:30 after i drove the entire way home while everyone else slept. Never again will i make that drive. The weekend was a lot of fun though so i won't complain anymore than that.

Leavitt Family Photo's

I had so much fun doing Kyle and Jessica's family pictures. Grace was such a crack up and the babies were adorable. I thought they turned out pretty amazing as well. Hopefully they agree.

Busy as Always

Well its been awhile since i have been able to write anything besides my Bettie Page Bio. Life has been a perfect type of crazy for the past few weeks. Kaden and I have spent more time together than usual and we have had so much fun doing the most random things. School is coming to an end only five more classes to go including final exams, and then its either a month of break or a couple weeks. I am still undecided on which school I'll be attending. Right now i am registered for classes at CSN and at UNLV but tomorrow Kaden and I are sending in our transcripts and applications to SUU, hopefully its not to late.

So a couple weeks ago I did some cheezy pics of pomegranats to sell at the festival. I know pretty lame but we are desperate, well more like im just missing shopping, but whatever same thing. The pictures were fun to do and looked pretty good and i even painted frames for them but i only sold twenty five dollars worth. Kaden had some free time though so he helped me out and we ended up being Grandma K's personal sales grandchildren. We were pretty much amazing and it was so much fun. Kaden got the bright idea Saturday morning to sell his own pomegranats and to sell little pomegranat trees. They were a hit!

Homecoming 2009!

p

Homecoming this year was a lot of fun! I know I am out of high school and its weird i was involved but i was just supporting Sarah and Luke, it will be our last year attending for quite awhile. It is so crazy to me that Sarah and Luke are both Seniors. They are both so busy and so amazing. Kaden and I are both so proud of our siblings, we could not be happier with the people that they are becoming. It was fun to see Sarah voted as an attendant, watch her play her Volleyball game and watch Luke play his football game. Sadly the girls lost but the boys were amazing and shut our Virgin Valley like 52 to 0. I have to say Congrats to Haley Leavitt too, I have never seen anyone crowned homcoming queen who deserved it more. She is so sweet!

Happy Birthday Kaden!

October 29, was Kaden's 23rd birthday :) I got as creative as i could between taking my midterm and helping Sarah get ready for homecoming and this is what i came up with. Ha i think Kaden enjoyed it. I know i am not the best cake decorator in the world but i can sure make a cake that looks like it was made by a five year old ha. Kaden had told me over and over again to make sure we just acted like he didn't have a birthday but once his birthday actually came around he changed his mind. It kind of stunk that his birthday was the same day as Homecoming. Both Sarah and Luke had games and Kaden had to work the next day. So Friday we celebrated and went to Vegas and stayed the night at Planet Hollywood. It was really nice to get away for the night and spend some time together.
